Dwight Andrews has had a passion for making faculty, students, and staff of McGovern Medical School look their best since he first joined the school in 2006. He graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s of fine arts degree in Photography in 1986 and boasts a 20-year-long career as a photo journalist, working at publications like The Galveston County Daily News, The Brazosport Facts, The Texas City Sun, and contract work for the Houston Chronicle and Reuters. He has earned more than 40 awards from the Associated Press Managing Editors Association and an Anson Jones Award from the Texas Medical Association.
Dwight currently lives with his wife in Galveston County, and her family lives throughout Greater Houston. In his spare time, he can often be found cycling across the countryside, bowling, looking at art, and listening to music. His favorite movies are The Big Easy and The Big Lebowski.
