About Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship
Immersive Clinical Experience
Fellows rotate with five fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeons in a high-volume, academically driven environment. At UTHealth Houston, you’ll treat a diverse patient population with complex pathology, sharpening your clinical judgment and surgical decision-making.
One-on-one mentorship fosters meaningful dialogue and encourages self-directed learning, helping you build true expertise and confidence in foot and ankle surgery.
You will gain extensive hands-on experience in procedures including ankle arthroplasty, external fixation and frame application, arthroscopy, arthrodesis, complex reconstruction, and the use of biologics. Fellows participate directly in over 500 surgical cases annually, ensuring robust clinical exposure and skill development.
