Our Cytopathology Service offers comprehensive diagnostic expertise for a wide range of malignant and benign cytological conditions. Led by Dr. Tianhua Guo at Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital and Dr. Jing Liu at Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center (MHH-TMC), our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality, precise, and timely diagnostic services to support optimal patient care.
Our specialized service encompasses various cytological evaluations, including fine needle aspirations (FNA), body fluid analyses, Pap smears, and other cytological preparations. Our advanced diagnostic capabilities ensure thorough evaluations, which are critical for developing personalized treatment plans for our patients. In addition to serving patients at MHH-TMC and LBJ, our Cytology Service also supports a high-volume outreach program, UTPath (led by Dr. Jing Liu), which extends our diagnostic expertise to patients throughout the state of Texas. This extensive network allows us to provide top-tier diagnostic services to a broader patient population, ensuring access to quality cytology care regardless of patient location.
