Savannah Boyd

Biography

Savannah received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. While in school, Savannah earned the Top Leader in Service Award for her work as a service-learning assistant throughout her undergraduate career. One of her main service-learning projects was tutoring underserved high school students in robotics. Upon graduation, she returned home to Houston, Texas to attend The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston’s Cardiovascular Perfusion Program where she trained at four different hospitals in the southern region. After obtaining her certification, she joined the team at UTHealth for Advanced Cardiopulmonary Therapies and Transplantation. Savannah is excited to continue educating bright minds and learning new perfusion techniques as the field continues to grow.
