Biography

Adam is a native Texan from Temple. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio in May 2012. He then worked in Temple as a lab technician in a microbiology lab. In 2014, Adam started perfusion school at Midwestern University. There he received his master’s degree in cardiovascular sciences in June 2016. After graduating, he practiced at University of Louisville Health – Jewish Hospital. In January 2021, Adam joined the UTHealth Center for Advanced Heart Failure team, where he currently serves as a staff perfusionist and instructor. Outside of work, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and being outdoors.
