Community partnerships are at the heart of the PLUS program. Through a growing network of more than 30 community partners across Houston, PLUS provides students with structured opportunities to apply classroom learning in real-world settings while exploring the social and environmental factors that shape health. We collaborate with nonprofit organizations, schools, community agencies, and other mission-driven partners to provide meaningful service-learning experiences that enrich medical education while supporting the health and well-being of our communities.
