Adding YouTube videos

YouTube videos may now be embedded to any post or page. Go to the YouTube page which has the video to be embedded. Select SHARE, which will be located under the video.

When the YouTube share options dialogue box opens, look underneath the social media buttons and copy the URL listed.

While the Editor box is using the Visual mode, type [embed] — make sure you are using square brackets — paste in the URL address, type [/embed], publish the Post or Page, then the video should appear.

e.g., [embed]https://youtu.be/JOcuIUZyLws?si=rJMXOqbTLC0ppZaq[/embed]

The new method ensures that the YouTube video is embedded with the accessibility properties that are needed.
