Capital Assets Management
Capital Assets Management (CAM) is responsible for accurately tracking and reporting UTHealth’s investments in capital assets. Our responsibilities include maintaining a centralized asset database, reconciling capital expenditures monthly, and conducting an annual physical inventory. Additionally, our office is responsible for tagging new acquisitions, processing internal and external asset transfers, recycling and disposing surplus property, and educating and advising the UTHealth community on a broad range of equipment issues.

Remodeling Services and Lock Shop Services performs numerous projects throughout The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Our team mission is to provide cost effective and high quality service in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, while striving to keep prices at market competitive cost rates to the university.
Space Inventory Management
Surplus (Equipment, Furniture, Capital Assets)
Environmental Health & Safety and Capital Assets Management have created an on-line version of the surplus equipment transfer form. This web based system will help streamline inspection of potentially hazardous equipment before removal by Capital Assets Management.
SHERM
