Arash Keyhani, DO, FACS

Biography

Arash Keyhani, DO is a board certified vascular surgeon and general surgeon.  He serves as assistant professor for vascular surgery with the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at McGovern Medical School, University of Texas Health and Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).  He provides vascular surgery services at Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital and Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital.

Dr. Keyhani has extensive experience in arterial and vein related disorders, as well as complete training in ultrasound guidance.  He is (RPVI) Registered Physicians in Vascular Interpretation certified which is critical in diagnosing underlying venous diseases that may not be evident in clinical examinations.

He completed his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, followed by a residency training in general surgery at UTHealth, here in Houston.  He then moved to Los Angeles and completed a vascular surgery residency training at the University of California Los Angeles through the leadership of Dr. Rodney White, pioneer of Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Keyhani is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member with the Society of Vascular Surgery, Society of Clinical Vascular Surgery, International Society of Endovascular Specialists, the Texas Medical Society, and the Harris County Medical Society.
