Provider Experience Taskforce

Summary of Mission

There is a well-established link between healthcare provider experience and patient outcomes. Studies demonstrate burnout among HCP have a negative impact on patient care and outcomes. Based on the correlation that has been found between burnout and experience, a joint approach is necessary. It is incumbent on health systems to promote organizational change for each domain. Both provider burnout and patient experience should be equally prioritized. A task force of clinical and research faculty is necessary to identify meaningful indicators that will improve the experience of the provider while simultaneously enhancing the patient experience.
