About Me: About Me: I’m joining UT from Arkansas where I just completed my residency, however I am originally from Florida. I am most excited to learn more about pain management but more specifically how to apply it to various clinical settings. I have chosen Palliative medicine as my subspecialty because I enjoy helping patients make hard decisions which ultimately impact their care as well as overcoming hurdles across the way. I have played sports most of my life so I would say I am an avid soccer and tennis fan which is fitting with the World Cup about to start.

About Me: I completed my Internal Medicine residency at UT Tyler and am excited to focus on HPM while being back home in Houston. I chose Hospice and Palliative Medicine because it plays such a vital role in patient care, and I feel my strengths and interests are well aligned with the specialty’s focus on communication, symptom management, and supporting patients through complex medical decisions. Some fun facts about me: I have a dachshund and enjoy lifting!

About Me: I am most excited about expanding my skills in both inpatient and outpatient palliative care this year, while also looking forward to a major personal milestone: getting married in India. I chose Palliative Medicine because of the significant need for specialists in the field and my passion for helping patients make informed decisions that prioritize quality of life. A fun fact about me is that I make it a point to try ramen in every city I visit.

Residency: University of Michigan Health System Program (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation – General)
About Me: Originally from Houston, I am joining the fellowship after serving as faculty in the UT PM&R Department, where I focused on brain injury rehabilitation. This year, I am excited to explore the many opportunities to integrate my rehabilitation background with palliative care. My experience caring for patients with serious neurologic illness led me to pursue Palliative Medicine to deepen my expertise in symptom management and goal-centered care, with the ultimate goal of building a career in neuro-palliative care. Outside of medicine, I am an avid home chef with a collection of more than 40 cookbooks and enjoy creating new dishes in my free time.
