Overview

The Medical School Office of Information Technology (MSIT) in collaboration with the UXS Advisory Council defines every three months the computer configurations that are available via the Medical School Leasing Program.

Pricing is subject to change without notice, but we do try to keep this page up to date.

The estimated amounts do not include “soft costs.” Soft costs consists of anything other than equipment, including such things as software, warranty, freight, or Computrace. The estimated amounts also do not include interim rent payments.

Available Leasing Options

Windows based laptop computers are based on 48 month (4 year) lease, desktops on 60 month lease (5 year).  Visit the MSIT page on the Dell website to read more detailed specifications about individual models. Please consult with your departmental IT user/desktop support personnel before picking the model.

NOTE: The desktop models listed below do not include monitors. Monitors must be purchased or leased separately using the MSIT Lease/Purchase App. Standard monitor model pricing can also be found listed below.

NOTE: Lease rates are based upon the yield to maturity of U.S. Treasury bonds. Thus, leasing rates may increase slightly if U.S Treasury notes maturing in four years exceed the current rate at the time of the lease.

Visit the MSIT web page on the Dell website to read more detailed specifications about individual laptop models. Please consult with your departmental IT user/desktop support personnel before picking the model, and to determine if you may gain benefits by adding a monitor and/or docking station to your setup.

Note: If you request to lease a laptop that is not listed below, the laptop you plan to lease or purchase must meet the minimum requirements. Once the minimum requirements have been met, contact your LAN Manager to begin the ordering process.
