Glaucoma Fellowship Program

The Department of Ophthalmology offers a one-year clinical fellowship in Glaucoma. This program provides comprehensive training in both the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, providing a diverse and thorough exposure to all aspects of glaucoma management in adults and children. Fellows work closely with both attending physicians and residents and are actively involved in the residency training program. Clinical research is required with ample opportunity depending on the fellow’s interest.

Clinical and surgical experiences are gained at the Robert Cizik Eye Clinic, Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) Hospital, and the Memorial Hermann outpatient surgery plaza both located in the Memorial Hermann Medical Center at the Texas Medical Center. The program is intended to prepare the candidate for a career in academic or non-academic practice. The fellowship is administered through the San Francisco Matching Program (SF Match ID: 4079).
