Vision Research Group

The Vision Research Group at McGovern Medical School is a highly collaborative group of well-funded faculty members whose primary research focus is the Visual System. Most faculty members are located in either the Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science or in the Department of Neurobiology and Anatomy at the McGovern Medical School. In addition, we have collaborators from other departments and schools at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

Because of our joint interest in Vision Research, we have submitted a proposal for an NEI Vision Core Grant (P30). This is a collaborative project to provide Core equipment, facilities and services for Vision Research at UTHealth.

The Vision Core Grant has three Modules
