The Texas Voice Performance Institute provides comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for patients with voice and upper aerodigestive disorders. Our expertise includes a broad range of conditions affecting the throat, including care for the professional voice, benign laryngeal lesions, early stage laryngeal cancer, spasmodic dysphonia, vocal fold paralysis, transgender voice issues, tracheal and subglottic stenosis, Zenker’s diverticulum, and numerous other disorders of the larynx, trachea, and esophagus.
The Texas Voice Performance Institute works in collaboration with our partners in the Memorial Hermann Health System to meet the needs of our patients. This includes an academic mission focused on education and research, as well as personalized, state-of-the-art patient care. As part of our institutional collaboration, we work closely with Speech Language Pathology, in addition to numerous specialists from neurology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, cardiothoracic surgery, and radiation oncology to ensure that every aspect of voice, airway, and swallowing care is available when needed.
A fellowship-trained laryngologist is available for both consultation and long-term management of cases involving the voice or upper aerodigestive tract. We team with our referral sources to achieve the best outcome for each patient while ensuring access to all of the latest advances in medical and surgical therapy. Opportunities to participate in clinical trials of new treatments will also be available to those patients who qualify.
