McGovern Medical School: Faculty in the Department of Pathology are deeply involved in both teaching and mentoring students. They deliver core lectures to first and second-year students, lead problem-based learning (PBL) groups, and provide hands-on instruction to third and fourth-year students during their elective and clinical rotations. Beyond teaching, pathology faculty also serve as mentors, guiding students through their academic and professional development. Pathology Residency Program: Our Residency Program has been in existence since the 1970s. Over the decades, we have proudly trained hundreds of pathologists who have gone on to lead successful careers in both academic and private settings. The department takes a resident-centered approach to education, emphasizing personalized training and mentorship. The program focuses on developing skilled pathologists through diverse rotations, hands-on experience, and research opportunities.

Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine Fellowship: Specialized training in blood banking and transfusion medicine.
Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Pathology Fellowship: Focused education in the pathology of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
Renal Pathology Fellowship: Advanced training in renal pathology, covering all aspects of kidney-related diseases.

CME Programs: Workshops, seminars, conferences, and additional educational programs are regularly offered to practicing pathologists to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field.
