Emily Robinson, MD, FACS graduated with Honors from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (now known as McGovern Medical School at UTHealth) in 1993. She completed her residency at UTHealth’s McGovern Medical School, during which she was awarded a NIH T-32 postdoctoral research fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center. After her surgical residency she completed a Breast Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Robinson returned to UTHealth’s McGovern Medical School as faculty. She devotes her time to developing a busy surgical practice focused around disease of the breast. She continued her NIH funded research and has served on multiple committees for both the hospital and medical school.
She sits on the TMC OR Executive Committee and is the Co-chair of Memorial Hermann Surgery CPC and the Memorial Hermann Integrated Cancer Network. She also serves as Vice Chair of Quality for the Department of Surgery.
She sees patients at her offices in Bellaire, Southeast Memorial and in the Memorial Hermann TMC Cancer Center as part of an integrated multi-specialty breast clinic. She treats benign as well as malignant disease of the breast and performs operative procedures at Memorial Hermann TMC, Memorial Hermann Southeast, and Memorial Hermann Memorial City. She also maintains privileges at Texas Women’s Hospital.
