Dr. Scerbo is distinguished by dual board certifications in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and Clinical Informatics by the American Board of Preventive Medicine. Complementing this comprehensive certification, Dr. Scerbo has furthered her expertise through specialized fellowship training in robotic and bariatric surgery.

The scope of Dr. Scerbo’s clinical practice encompasses the intricate treatment of obesity, reflux, abdominal hernias, gallbladder disease, as well as diseases of the small and large intestine, appendix, gallbladder, and soft tissues. She is committed to a patient-centered methodology, emphasizing a meticulous blend of medical and surgical therapies tailored to individualized needs. Her proficiency extends beyond the operating room as a Clinical Informaticist, leveraging technology for enhanced healthcare delivery.

Beyond the operating room, Dr. Scerbo is actively engaged in contributing to the medical community through research, education, and advocacy. She serves on the Insurance Committee for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, advocating for patients to receive access to care for their obesity.
