Biography
Dr. Deepa Iyengar is a Professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Iyengar is the Medical Director of the UT Physicians at Bellaire Multispecialty Clinic and the Family Medicine Clinic in the UT Physicians Professional Building.
Dr. Iyengar is a graduate of Family & Community Medicine Residency Program. She has a special interest in women’s health, adolescents, and multicultural issues. In addition to her being board certified in Family Medicine, she is also board certified in Bariatric Medicine. She precepts at our UT Physicians Family Medicine clinic and attends at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
