Our successful program introduces medical students to the principles of family medicine while providing essential clinical skills and training necessary for any specialty.
Residency Program
We aim to train residents who provide high-quality, comprehensive patient care with respect to family and community while appreciating the cultural, spiritual, ethnic, and economic status of our patients.
Community Health Program
The Community Health Program serves as the liaison between the Department and the Harris Health System Community Health Program and activities at Lyndon Baines Johnson Hospital.
