NIRFCMTI collaborates with investigators to apply near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) imaging in animal models to visualize lymphatic structure, lymphatic pumping, tracer transport, and therapeutic delivery in real time. These studies support research into inflammation, cancer, arthritis, lymphatic dysfunction, and locoregional drug delivery, including work showing that NIRF imaging can quantify lymphatic pumping and evaluate lymphatic-directed delivery of biologic therapies. |

MILabsCMTI provides collaborative access to a MILabs small-animal multimodality imaging platform for high-resolution preclinical molecular and anatomical imaging. The system supports SPECT/PET and CT workflows, dynamic imaging, multi-isotope studies, image reconstruction, co-registration, and quantitative analysis for applications in oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular biology, inflammation, and therapeutic-response studies. |

NIRFCMTI partners with clinical investigators to translate NIRF lymphatic imaging into human research studies that visualize lymphatic architecture, dermal backflow, and lymphatic pumping function. This work has supported longitudinal studies in cancer-related lymphedema, where NIRF imaging detected lymphatic pumping disruption before dermal backflow and clinical lymphedema appeared, highlighting its value for studying early lymphatic dysfunction and treatment-related risk. |
