Biography

Ben J. Barnett, MD received his medical degree (AOA) from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and was an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer at the CDC. Dr. Barnett is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine and Division of Infectious Diseases at the UTHealth McGovern Medical School and a staff physician at the Harris Health System’s Quentin Mease Health Center. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
