Biography

There is no greater privilege than to take care of others. We work in multidisciplinary teams to provide skillful and compassionate care to every patient every day.

Dr. Lilit Sargsyan received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Rice University and doctorate degree in medicine from the McGovern Medical School (formerly The University of Texas Houston Medical School). She completed her residency and Chief residency in Internal Medicine at the McGovern Medical School. Subsequently, Dr. Sargsyan completed Pulmonary & Critical Care and Sleep Medicine fellowships at McGovern Medical School. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. In 2018, she joined the faculty at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth as an Assistant Professor.
In her spare time, she enjoys puzzles, literature, traveling, and spending time with family.
