Robin L. Beach, PhD

Biography

Robin L. Beach, PhD, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in HIV care, including care for pregnant women with HIV and patients seeking HIV and STI prevention. For more than two decades, she has provided care to adults living with and without HIV at UT Physicians.

Beach is a professor at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston with an adjunct appointment at the Cizik School of Nursing. In addition to patient care, she conducts research and provides educational training for medical students, residents, and nurse practitioner students.

She earned her Master of Science in nursing from The University of Texas Medical Branch and her doctorate in nursing from Texas Woman’s University. She also volunteers her expertise to provide medical care to underserved communities in rural Guatemala.
