Biography

Dr. Soraira Pacheco is a palliative physician. She received her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a palliative fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center, McGovern Medical School. Subsequently, she joined the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine faculty at McGovern. Her research interest is in safe opioid use and cancer-related symptoms as well as palliative care in the underserved.
