Ranya Selim, MD

Biography

Dr. Ranya Selim received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College – Qatar. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. She then went on to complete a combined Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital. She joined UTHealth Houston as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Transplant Hepatologist in January 2023.

Dr. Selim is triple board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Transplant Hepatology. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national meetings.
