Biography

Dr. Salem Muayad received his medical degree from Damascus University – Syria. He completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. He then went on to complete a fellowship in clinical nutrition at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Thereafter, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, followed by a fellowship in therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Muayad has more than 20 years of clinical experience in the field of gastroenterology.
