Yawen Ren, MD

Biography

Dr. Ren received her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her medical degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston in 2019. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) in 2022. She moved to Denver, Colorado, to complete her Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2024.

She has joined the UTHealth Houston faculty in the Division of Rheumatology with personal interests in clinical education and musculoskeletal ultrasound to help diagnose and treat autoimmune diseases. She provides general rheumatology care and consultation at UT Bellaire Multispecialty Clinic and Memorial Hermann Hospital. She is an active member of the American College of Rheumatology.
