Dr. Alexandria Koney is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at UTHealth Houston and an Academic Hospitalist at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. Dr. Koney works in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Koney completed her medical degree at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2021, where she was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, recognizing her dedication to compassionate patient care. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. During residency, she completed the Leadership in Medicine track. Following her residency, she was appointed as a Chief Resident at UTHealth Houston for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Dr. Koney has demonstrated exceptional achievement throughout her training, including her nomination into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) society in 2024. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
