Mahboobeh Mahdavinia, MD, PhD, FAAAAI, professor and division director of Allergy and Immunology at UTHealth Houston, is featured in a recent Healio article examining the likelihood of outgrowing shellfish allergy. The analysis found that patients with comorbid asthma or allergic rhinitis have lower odds of outgrowing shellfish allergy, underscoring important considerations for long-term patient counseling and management.
