Biography

James H. Acuff, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine. He completed his medical school training at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis, TN, in 2021, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center-Nashville and Ascension St Thomas Hospital. He subsequently moved to Houston, where he completed his Infectious Disease fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. He is currently serving as the Medical Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship for Memorial Hermann-TMC Adults. His interests include Antimicrobial and Diagnostic Stewardship, wound care, and medical education.
