Dr. Sattar joined the division in February 2016 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Dow Medical College at the University of Karachi in Pakistan and completed her internship at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi. She then completed her Internal Medicine residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Sattar is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In addition to providing clinical care, she is actively involved in research, quality improvement initiatives, and preventive care efforts to improve patient health and outcomes. She currently sees patients at UT Physicians Bayshore Multispecialty Clinic.
