Biography

Dr. Hwang joined our division in 2005 as a Primary Care Fellow and subsequently joined the faculty. He serves as medical director of the UT Physicians Internal Medicine — Texas Medical Center clinic as well as director of the General Internal Medicine fellowship. Dr. Hwang also leads the Population Health longitudinal theme in the medical school curriculum. His pursuits include research, quality improvement, and optimization of electronic health records. Dr. Hwang is board certified in internal medicine and clinical informatics.
