Biography

Dr. Hwang joined our division in 2005 as a Primary Care Fellow and made Associate Professor in 2013. His main research interests are obesity and informatics, with projects funded by the UTHealth Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences and the Center for Clinical Research and Evidence-Based Medicine. He sees patients in the General Medicine clinic and inpatient wards. Dr. Hwang is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  Dr. Hwang is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine.
