Dr. Reem Al-Dallal is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Jordan and completed her training in Internal Medicine Residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. She then completed her Fellowship training in Endocrinology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Al-Dallal is a dedicated educator, holding leadership roles, including Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship and Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. She also serves as the Course Co-Director for the Endocrine System Module.
Dr. Al-Dallal has received numerous honors, including the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Master Teacher Award and the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Award. In 2019, she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, in recognition of her academic excellence and dedication to medical education and patient care. She was also selected for membership in the McGovern Academy of Master Educators.
