Biography

Dr. Reem Al-Dallal is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, specializing in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Jordan and completed her training in Internal Medicine Residency at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. She then completed her Fellowship training in Endocrinology at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Al-Dallal is a dedicated educator, holding leadership roles, including Associate Program Director for the Endocrinology Fellowship and Assistant Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency. She also serves as the Course Director for the Endocrine System Module.

Dr. Al-Dallal has received numerous awards, including the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Master Teacher and the Dean’s Teaching Excellence Awards. She was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, the national honor society of Medicine in 2019 in recognition of her academic excellence and commitment to medical education and patient care.
