Caroline Wolbrecht, CEPM
Caroline Wolbrecht, CPC, CPC-I, OHCC, is the Compliance Education Program Manager for the MSHBC department. Seventeen of her 18 years at UT Health-Houston, have been spent in the MSHBC department teaching billing, coding, and compliance. In addition to managing the Compliance Education Program, she also teaches a CPC review course that prepares UT Health staff for their national CPC certification exam. Regardless of the class you find yourself in, if you remain teachable, you can learn anything! Outside of her UT Health role, Caroline also served as a private consultant, and was a long time AAPC workshop and conference presenter. Over the years, the following credentials were obtained:
- AAPC – (CPC) Certified Professional Coder
- AAPC – Approved Instructor (formerly known as CPC-I)
- AIHC – (OHCC) Officer of Healthcare Compliance
On a more personal note, Caroline is a Texas transplant from Ohio, who got here as fast as she could by way of Florida, then Mississippi. She is a wife of 31 years, mother to three grown children, and grandmother to one. Caroline has a great affinity for animals, both on land and sea. She enjoys spending time with her family, pets, SCUBA diving, underwater photography, and gardening.
