2021 UTHealth Neuroscience Research Center Video Contest

To promote brain awareness within the Houston community, especially for grade school children and their families, the UTHealth Neuroscience Research Center (NRC) is hosting a Brain Awareness Video Contest open to UTHealth graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.

Prizes (awarded to the primary author of the winning videos):

  1. First place: $500
  2. Second place: $300
  3. Third place: $200

Video contest guidelines:

  1. Subject: Videos must focus on “How the brain works.”
  2. Duration: Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes.
  3. Audience: Middle school students (10-13 years old)
  4. Complete application online.
