Dr. Aroor is a board certified vascular neurologist and neurohospitalist with expertise in the management of ischemic stroke, hemorrhage and other neurological emergencies. He completed medical school at J.S.S. Medical College, Mysore and trained at the University of Kentucky for his neurology residency. He completed vascular neurology fellowship training at the University of Miami.
Dr. Aroor is passionate about expanding neurological care to underserved communities and his research interests include improving systems of care, prehospital triage and global health. He has authored publications in Stroke, Journal of Stroke, Circulation and has presented at national and international meetings. Dr. Aroor is an active member of several societies, including the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology, American Academy of Neurology and the World Stroke Organization.
