Dr. Christina Burrows is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health).

Dr. Burrows specializes in neuropsychological evaluation of memory disorders in adults and older adults. She provides cognitive assessments of dementias (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease and frontotemporal dementia), stroke, cerebrovascular disease, brain injury, movement disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s disease), multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions.

Research interests include deep brain stimulation (DBS) for treatment-resistant depression. Other clinical and research interests include cognition in neurological and psychiatric conditions, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and biomarker correlates of cognitive decline in Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Dr. Burrows and the staff at the Neurocognitive Disorders Center strive to provide patients with a positive atmosphere, patient-centered care, and a generally supportive experience.
