As most of you know, we have lost a dear and beloved member of our UTHealth family, Joan Miller.
In difficult times like these, many of us seek special ways to express our sympathy and appreciation for those who have left us.
Joannie was not only an exemplary employee, but a remarkable human being, who gave tirelessly of herself over the many years of her loyal service here at McGovern Medical School Departments of Pediatrics and OBGYN. She will be greatly missed.
To honor her memory, her life, and especially her contributions to the University, the family has established a memorial fund that will be used to further the mission we all are here to serve and to which she devoted so much of her life and career.
