Biography

Aaron W. Roberts, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences and Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at McGovern Medical School (UTHealth).

Dr. Roberts received his medical degree in 2016 from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, TX and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. Dr. Roberts completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX and his Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at McGovern Medical School (UTHealth).

Dr. Roberts is board-certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) in obstetrics and gynecology and is board-eligible in maternal-fetal medicine. His decision to become a doctor and his passion for maternal-fetal medicine stems from seeing firsthand at a young age the compassionate care his mother received during her complicated pregnancy with his twin sisters. His commitment to evidence-based care and family focused decision making has earned him a reputation of trust with his patients. He joined the faculty at McGovern Medical School (UTHealth) to work with other physicians who exemplify these values and the dedication that patients expect when managing a high-risk pregnancy.
