Blair K. Stevens, MS, CGC

Biography

Blair K. Stevens is a board-certified genetic counselor (CGC) with over 10 years of experience in reproductive genetics. She has a special interest in prenatal genetic screening and testing, and counseling families with fetal anomalies identified on ultrasound. Stevens is committed to helping families understand and adjust to unexpected prenatal diagnoses.

She’s also an associate professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and serves as a clinical supervisor and research mentor for genetic counseling students, maternal fetal medicine fellows, pediatric genetics residents, and obstetrics and gynecology residents. She also serves as the director of prenatal genetic counseling services.

Stevens is originally from Kansas. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas before earning her master’s at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
