Comfort Ughanze, MD, is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School (UTHealth). She is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with over 17 years of experience in women’s health. Dr. Ughanze provides comprehensive care to women from adolescence through menopause and beyond. She practices both obstetrics and gynecology, with a specialized focus on menopause management. Dr. Ughanze is certified by the National Menopause Society and is passionate about guiding women through all stages of hormonal and reproductive health.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed her residency training at George Washington University.
Beyond her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Ughanze is deeply rooted in her faith and community and finds time to volunteer. She is also a devoted wife and mother of three, finding purpose in both her professional calling and her family life.
