Biography
Pamela A. Promecene, MD, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist providing care for women of all ages. She believes that patient education is key to a strong doctor-patient relationship. She embraces the philosophy that knowledge empowers and knowledge about your health empowers individuals to live a healthy lifestyle.
She’s a professor and Memorial Hermann chair in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and senior associate dean for graduate medical education.
Dr. Promecene was born and raised in Houston and is a McGovern Medical School graduate.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, gardening, and long-distance running.
