Division of Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecology (AMIG)
The Division of Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecology (AMIG) is committed to providing individualized and personalized surgical and medical care for complex gynecologic conditions. Our physicians perform the vast majority of procedures via laparoscopy, vaginally, robotically, single-site, and hysteroscopically. Our physicians provide compassionate, innovative, quality and evidence-based care for our patients.
Our AMIG Division treats common gynecologic conditions, including fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and ovarian cysts. We also specialize in the surgical management of patients with cesarean scar ectopic, laparoscopic myomectomy, and laparoscopic abdominal cerclage placement. The decision to seek advanced gynecologic treatment, including any surgery, can be complex. Our experts partner with each patient to perform a thorough assessment to create a specific treatment plan to meet each patient’s unique needs.
Our AMIG specialists use a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to treat these conditions with colleagues in urology, urogynecology, colorectal surgery, gynecologic oncology, gastroenterology, and physical therapy to optimize patient care and health outcomes. We partner with our patients and provide accurate information about their options so that we can offer the most appropriate treatment decisions and exemplary care together.
