Urogynecology Program

The Urogynecology Program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston provides comprehensive care of women with pelvic floor disorders. Conditions treated included the following as well as others:

  • Pelvic organ Prolapse
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Voiding disorders
  • Bladder / Pelvic pain
  • Recurrent UTIs
  • Urethral Diverticula
  • Fistulas

In office procedures including multichannel cystometrics as well as cystoscopy are offered in an outpatient setting. Surgeries aimed at treating disorders of the pelvic floor are performed at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Surgeries are performed using minimally invasive techniques when possible. Procedures offered include:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse & incontinence surgery performed by vaginal / robotic / abdominal routes
  • Minimally invasive Slings
  • Vaginal hysterectomy
  • Vaginal Vault suspension
  • Robotic Sacrocolpopexy
  • Robotic suspension of vagina
  • Robotic hysterectomy
