Botox

Botox is a neuromodulator that helps to relax the muscle it is injected into. While initially FDA approved to help with abnormal movement of the eyes (strabismus) it is now widely used in cosmetic applications to help reduce wrinkles in the forehead, brow (“11-lines”), wrinkles around the eye (crow’s feet), minimize platysmal banding in the neck and more. Numerous studies have demonstrated the safety of Botox for cosmetic use and more and more patients are now enjoying the preventive effects of Botox as well. Early use of Botox before wrinkles have started forming can prevent the formation of wrinkles and slow the effects of aging.
