Biography

Alyssa Adams, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pediatric hospital medicine. She currently serves as a pediatric hospitalist, providing comprehensive inpatient care to children with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Dr. Adams is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, family-centered care and works closely with interdisciplinary teams to support the health and well-being of her patients.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago where she completed an additional year as chief resident. Her clinical interests include simulation, patient safety, quality improvement in inpatient settings, and medical education.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Adams is actively involved in mentoring medical students and residents and prides herself on promoting a positive and engaging learning environment. She is committed to advancing pediatric care through ongoing education, collaboration, and systems-based improvements.
