Biography

Ashley Gibson, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston and practices within the Division of Child Safety and Integrated Care. She provides comprehensive, integrated care for children with complex medical and social needs, including those involved in the child welfare system and families at risk. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gibson leads initiatives that address social and non-medical drivers of health to reduce barriers to care and improve health for all children. Her work bridges implementation and clinical research to translate evidence into practice.
