Nathan Valenti, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pediatric hospital medicine. He serves as an assistant professor in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, and practices as a pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital and Memorial Hermann–Texas Medical Center in Houston’s Texas Medical Center.
Dr. Valenti earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and holds an active Texas medical license.
In his clinical role, Dr. Valenti provides comprehensive inpatient care for children with a wide range of acute, chronic, and medically complex conditions. He is dedicated to evidence-based and family-centered care, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for his patients. Dr. Valenti’s academic interests include quality improvement in inpatient pediatrics, medical education, and care coordination for medically complex children. He leads and mentors pediatric residents and fellows in scholarly projects and quality initiatives, striving to foster a culture of continuous improvement and clinical excellence within the Division.
