Congratulations, Graduates!

The Department of Pediatrics celebrated the accomplishments of residents and fellows who completed their programs earlier this summer.

 

The Neonatology Division honored their four graduating fellows with a special dinner at Xochi on Thursday, June 20, 2024.

• Jazmine Humphreys, DO, will begin practicing at Valley Medical Center, Washington.
• Kaitlyn Parker, MD, will begin practicing at Presbyterian Health Services, New Mexico.
• Brittany Graham, MD, will begin an Advanced Non-Invasive Imaging Fellowship with UTHealth Pediatric Cardiology!
• Olivia Russell, MD, will be taking a faculty role here at UTHealth Houston!

 

The Pediatrics Residency hosted a graduation celebration at the Houston Zoo on Saturday, June 15, and honored several remarkable individuals:

• Excellence in Mentorship: Dr. Ladan Agharokh, Pedi Hospital Medicine

Residents also selected several peers to receive special awards:

• • Residents Dr. Shreeya Patel and Dr. Yasmine Bargoti-Gosey received the Dr. Marnie Rose Award.
  • Resident Dr. Shreeya Patel received the Shirlene E. Edwards Butterfly Award.
  • Resident Dr. Natalie Morris was recognized as Intern of the Year.
